Biology has nothing to do with my degree but I have to take it. I am not so good at all this memorizing of every part of the body and their functions. So I have some fill in the blank questions that I need help with. I hope one of you biology experts can help me out! Thank you in advance!

1. After passing through the proximal convoluted tubule, filtrate next enters the __________________ in the nephron.

2. At the arterial end of a capillary bed, blood pressure is ________________________ osmotic pressure.

3. The liver removes amino groups from amino acids and converts them to _____________________.

My attempted answers for the blanks.

1. loop of Henle
2. less than
3. urea

Wrong most likely, but you won't have to worry about me performing surgery on you =D.

-
1 is correct to be specific its the descending limb of the loop of Henle

2. As blood enters the capillary bed on the arteriole end, the blood pressure in the capillary vessel is greater than the osmotic pressure of the blood in the vessel. The net result is that fluid moves from the vessel to the body tissue.

3. is urea indeed
