Do you think humans will ever find a way to achieve immortality

[From: ] [author: ] [Date: 12-07-07] [Hit: ]
we are all children of the stars (in a scientific context). When the Sun dies, when nuclear fusion stops, we will all die. all of our energy is ultimately from the Sun, and no Sun means no energy.......

No, because what do we die from. We die from illness, we die from accidents, we die from injuries. We can't even cure people that suffer from illnesses such as cancer, we can't stop someone suffocating to death, we can't stop certain individuals from bleeding to death after casualties. How many of these different things can we prevent.
People will never be able to live forever, we are all children of the stars (in a scientific context). When the Sun dies, when nuclear fusion stops, we will all die. all of our energy is ultimately from the Sun, and no Sun means no energy... (I hope you can see where I am going with this).
What's more, our cells can only divide a certain number of times before the end portion of DNA on your genes (telomere) shortens. Cells have a limited life-span, no cell can divide indefinitely. And obviously the effects of eternal life will be catastrophic as someone has already mentioned.

Sure. Check out the link below.

-
Lets hope not, as is were heavily over populated and for first time in history more people are born than die per year, bad juju.

-
No, because we are bio degradable.

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life.
