These structures CLEARLY heat up the surface of the planet. In my front yard I can sit and I'm not as hot on the grass. But walk over the sidewalk or parking lot and it's like an oven...walk BAREFOOT over these hot structures if you dare...I PERSONALLY VERY STRONGLY BELIEVE that these structures MUST be responsible for at least half of the world's super-hot summers.
I mean it's common sense...put a material out like concrete, tar, black top, which clearly becomes hot as coal when sitting in the summer sun for hours, and it will absorb heat and then radiate that extreme heat, which isn't even supposed to be reaching the surface of the planet yet somehow is...These materials DRAW heat.
I CAN'T believe these materials DON'T contribute to the hot weather and to warmer winters. The SUN HAS TO SHINE or the effect is reduced. This is why cloudy days are soooo much more of a relief today than they were 30 years ago! 30 years ago it seems to me that if it was 80 outside then it was only three degrees cooler with the cloud coverage. Now it seems cloud coverage makes it 10 or 15 degrees cooler EASY!

I have wondered WHY the government doesn't make everyone GO GREEN...LITERALLY GREEN COLOR...GREEN, unlike BLACK, is a neutral color and won't make the world so much hotter as will having much of the globe's surface covered in black dense material. This is WHY the GRASS is green...it's literally a cool color to the touch.
Would it help to change everything that is black to green? I bet it would. I think it's worth a try. Who can I contact about this? It's totally worth an experiment in some mid-size town...I'm almost convinced it would work. !
You can't tell me that all this hot black stuff is having no effect. I JUST CAME IN FROM TAKING A SHORT WALK ON IT...I don't ever wanna go outside again all summer...not on that dense black hot-top! It's like a stove range...you could cook a freekin' egg right on it! And maybe some sausage too!
