I don't know the answer to this problem, i thought the answer was 3 yards and 33 feet, but it doesn't. look right.

10 feet = _____yards_____feet

If my answer was right, then how i would i do this one:

7,258 feet = _____ miles _____yards _____feet

3feet=1yd, therfore, 10 feet make 3yds and one feet

now for the second we need to know that 1760yds=1mile thus 1 mile=1760*3 ft=5280ft
thus, 7258 feet=7258/5280=1mile1978 feet=1mile1978/3 yds=1mile659yds 1ft

1 yard = 3 feet

10 / 3 = 3 with a remainder of 1
10 feet = 3 yards and 1 foot

For the second problem,
7258 / 5280 = 1 with a remainder of 1978
7258 feet = 1 mile and 1978 feet
1978 / 3 = 659 with a remainder of 1
7258 feet = 1 mile, 659 yards, and 1 foot

10 feet = 3 yards and 1 feet

7258 feet = 1 mile 659 yards 1 feet
