I'm having a lot of trouble with radians mostly but here's the question I'm trying to solve..

Using a calculator determine the solutions for the equation cos (theta)= 0.1576. The domain is 0

You've basically applied a function to theta to get 0.1576. To find theta you must therefore use the inverse of that function on 0.1576

Therefore, theta = cos^-1(0.1576)
--->theta = 1.41...

Because the domain is between 0 and 2pi, 2pi - 1.41 = 4.87... is also an answer

Note: cos^-1 isn't 1/cos, it's the inverse function of cos. To get it on your calculator you usually push shift then cos
