Math problem help kinnda hard!!!

I have to write the natural anitlogarthithm of -31.057... well the hard part is when I get the answer in the calculator it turns into 3.25174346059077 e-14 .... I have no clue what the (e-14) stands for... The answer needs to be rounded to the fourth decimal pace, and in scientific notation.

any thoughts? I'm not cheating- this is just home work- so, a step by step guide would help me and what (e-14) means on the calculator

The (e-14) could mean x 10^-14 ... times 10 raised to the negative 14

So, 3.25174346059077 e-14 rounded to the fourth decimal place and in scientific notation would be:

3.2517 x 10^-14

x = e^(-31.057) ..................... ← e = Eulers Number
.. = 3.25174346059077E-14 .. ← En = "times 10^n"
.................................. ↑ move decimal 14 places left (neg) ... move right (pos)

e-14 means 10^(-14)
e is for exponent
