-It tends to be well staffed. There are a lot of nurses, high nurse to patient ratio, so you get to focus on the cases you have in front of you.ICU nurses tend to be experienced in other wards before they get to go on the ICU and train for it.-Haha I want to be a neonatal ICU Nurse!......
Pros - ICU experience means you can qualify for entrance into CRNA school and, hopefully, make the big bucks.

Cons - people die long, slow deaths in the ICU. Seeing that on a consistent basis is no fun.
