but G forces are sure to generate inertia, then when it collides, it will split the camra in half because the camera couldnt overcome the inertia and kenetic/potential energy, so it will not survive ur experiment.......
Ok I know what I'm about to say is dumb but here it goes. Can a roller coaster G forces destroy a cameras lens? I mean my leans has optical stabilization's, so that might get ruined. Any body know what could happen? Oh and it's a Canon SX30is.

I wouldn't think that the G-forces encountered in a roller coaster would damage a camera, as long as it didn't experience any shocks, such as letting it go into free-fall then yanking it back by the strap. OF course, if it hit something, like a support next to the track or getting dropped to the ground would almost certainly be fatal for it.

It doesnt Matter if it was a connon or anything, but G forces are sure to generate inertia, then when it collides, it will split the camra in half because the camera couldnt overcome the inertia and kenetic/potential energy, so it will not survive ur experiment.
