Okay..a balloon is floating around outside your window. The temp outside is -7c, and the air pressure is 0.800

I used R=8.3145 J/(mol-K)= 8.also 0.8 atm = 81.......
on, tells you that he filled it with 3.00 moles of gas. What is the volume of gas inside this balloon?

Here's a quick and dirty answer

Using the ideal gas law

PV=nRT
you have P=0.8 atmospheres
n=3 moles
R=ideal gas constant (make sure to use the correct units when looking it up)
T= -7C (which is 266.15 K)

so rearrange and solve for V

V=nRT/P

Good Luck

My answer is 0.0917 cubic meters (m^3)

I used R=8.3145 J/(mol-K)= 8.3145 (Pa-m^3)/(mol-K)
also 0.8 atm = 81.1 kPa =81100 Pa

The units are tricky in this kind of problem
