OMG well i am in greatest risk for tornado right now and im in tornado watch! HeLp! I KNOW YOU HAVE TO GO IN A BASMENT i just need safty trchniques?~?~ I Have a door/room under my basment steps. IS THAT SAFE?? IM SCARED!

Just get in the basement , stay low underground. Maybe make a first- aid kit. Band-aids water flash light batteries etc. Maybe take a blanket or to & maybe some pillows. If there's a table or something you can get under in your basement that'd be good too.

Are you in Kansas or Nebraska? Nebraska has been having a lot of storms and tornadoes it seems lately. Anyway, a tornado watch just means that the weather is possible to produce one so you should be prepared. If it's a warning then that means the tornado has been spotted or a funnel has. Go to a corner of your basement and take a radio and water so you can know what's going on. Stay safe.
