im in newfoundland and i know the hurricane will be reduced quite a bit but will there be thunder and lightning and if there is will it wake me (its supposed to get us at about 2:00 in the morning on sunday or something. anyways will the thunder and lightning wake me (will it be bad) im A pretty deep sleeper and i know its hard to tell but if there is thunder and lightning will it be bad enough to wake me up? im in carbonear a 35-45 min. drive from st johns. i tried to make sense. but yea will there be thunder and lightning???

I'm not too sure what it'll be like once it gets to your part of the world, but hurricanes aren't usually too big on the thunder and lightning. It will probably get quite windy, though, and that will be loud.
