The manned space program has not been "closed." There are currently 6 people on the International Space Station: 3 Russians, 2 Americans, and one Japanese.

I have none because it has not closed. NASA announced the need for more astronauts last week.

There are currently astronauts in space and There are Many manned missions coming up. We just use a different vehicle.
I'm pretty sure NASA will never close down. It's the best investment I can see.
