October 28, 2011 question

Is this the real end of the Mayan calendar, thus the end of the world, according to doomsday nuts, or is that December 2012? Also, will anything happen in space on October 28? Can I get a straight answer, please.

Mercury will be 0.2° north of the Moon, and will be occulted by the Moon as seen from SE Asia and Australasia. Venus will be 1.8° north of the Moon. Jupiter comes to opposition the next day, but actually on the 28th in many time zones.

I'm guessing you heard this on YouTube correct? If so stop listening to those idiots. They have no evidence to support there idiotic assumptions. Nothing will happen on october 28th, 2011. if memory serves correctly it was supposed to end September 26th, 2011 still nothing happened then October 16th, 2011 now its bumped to October 28th, 2011. No way. The world is not going to end on October 28th, neither in December 21, 2012. This is just a myth based on false arguments. The sun, the earth and the center of the galaxy align themselves EVERY December 21st, and nothing has happened. The sun is going to a point of maximum activity? is is true, but this happens every 21 years. It is something cyclical. An asteroid is coming towards the Earth? false. Many asteroids pass close every month, this is true but no one is coming towards the Earth. What else? The sun will change and cause earthquakes by bombarding neutrinos? No way! Neutrinos come across you and me everyday and nothing happens. Don´t worry, nothing is gonna happen. We will enjoy the winter solstice again. :-)

Nah its the 12/21/12. Not the 10/28/11. And nothing will happen in space or anything. Thats just bull ****. Some scientists think that a major earthquake will take place that will hit on every continent. It will destroy almost everything. But NASA think different. They have some pretty good reasons to prove it wrong too. Other scientists think that the worl will be completely wiped out by a big meteor(but I don't believe in that because NASA say that they have checked their radars and nothing is "danger" atm). And about the Mayan Calender. Well almost everyone on the google thinks or atleast knows from the knowledge of scientists is that 2012 is the end of the Mayan Calender. Well that was how the Mayan Calender was constructed. Mayan calender is approximately 5125 yrs long but one year is more than 2 million days long but 12.19.2.13.19 is only the short way to write it. So on December 21 2012, that one year of more than 2 million days will be completed. Also one concept is that Solar flares from sun will reach Earth and destroy all the crops and stuff. It wil raise Earth's temperature by 100 times more than now. But thats just myth because scientists have already checked the Solar flare count and its normal as always.
