Well for starters, respiratory is made of hard tubes, which are made to transport air from the exterior environment into the lungs>into the body. Then, there are many alvioli in the lungs(greater surface area for diffusion), each containing a very thin membrane which allows for quick and easy diffusion of oxygen.
