Simple math help 1/4(x+2)=1/3(2x+6)

1/4(x+2)=1/3(2x+6)
im not sure how to solve this help plz

multiply each side by 12

3(x+2)=4(2x+6)
3x+6=8x+24

the rest is duck soooop

1/4(x+2)=1/3(2x+6)
12(1/4(x+2))=(1/3(2x+6))12
3(x+2)=4(2x+6)
3x+6=8x+24
-18=5x
x=-18/5
X=-3 3/5
