What would be the risk of a height reduction surgery by shortening the spinal cord

I desperately want this surgery, when I sit down I look like a giant because my torso is very long and my legs are very short, I feel very tall, next to all my peers (i'm 18 and have stopped growing) and I am very self concious of this because in heels, i will be 5'9 1/2 - 5'10. and thats taller than most men! preferably i'd love to go out with a tall man 6'2 - 6'5, as that would make me feel much more self confident with my height. I desperately wanted to stop growing at 5 ft, but the height I would love to be is 5 ft
