In strength tests, when people pull buses, it the weight actually lower since their pulling it on wheels

.the force required to lift a mass is greater than the force required to move a mass sideways.this is due to gravity.imagine pushing a car as to lifting a car.so it may appear that the Bus weighs less when on wheels. what actually happens is that the force required to raise a bus is the weight of the mass of the bussX 9.......
Like when someone is trying to show of the strength of meditation or just a strongman competition of sorts and their pulling a pus, or multiple buses attached to a rope, is feel of the weight actually much lower then the weight mentioned because they are on wheels, lowering the weight to something much less impressive and making it more of a trick?

disregarding friction.. the force required to lift a mass is greater than the force required to move a mass sideways.

this is due to gravity. imagine pushing a car as to lifting a car.

so it may appear that the Bus weighs less when on wheels. what actually happens is that the force required to raise a bus is the weight of the mass of the buss X 9.8 (approx) for gravity

it doesnt lower the weight, but if the buses roll, then the resisting force of friction is lowered since rolling friction is less than sliding friction
