Is it bad that i like tornadoes

So, ive always been interested in storms, and especially tornadoes! I'm always keeping my eyes out for severe weather, and have the weather bug thing downloaded on my laptop (;. I get excited when we have a tornado watch or warning. I cant help it. I understand the risks and how terrible they can be, but tornadoes are amazing and interesting to me. Is this bad? Should i be more concerned, or?

No, it is not bad. I love tornadoes. It is awesome to see them out in the open fields. Only part of tornadoes that I hate is when they occur in urban areas and destroy people's lives.

No it's not. It's human nature to be interested in rare or unordinary phenomena. Since you can't cause tornados yourself, there's little risk of you harming others with your fascination. No harm, to me, means it's okay. You might consider seeking counseling, however, if your joy comes from the devistation and havoc tornados cause in victims' lives. You might have some issues with schadenfreude.

Not at all! I too find storms very interesting, and I think they're some of nature's most beautiful and incredible atmospheric features. (After all, what fun are clouds?) Tornadic thunderstorms are very beautiful (from a weather perspective), and they have to be in conditions that are exactly right for that day. That just makes them more amazing.

Of course, I would be a bit more concerned if you like the DAMAGE caused by a tornado as well. I love seeing tornadoes on video, but images (and death tolls) coming out of Joplin and Tuscaloosa reveal just how powerful Mother Nature is over us, and how our lives can be taken in an instant. Although the damage is an incredible and unbelievable sight, you must also remember all the families and people affected by the tornado, whether they lost a pet or loved one, or their house is now uninhabitable.

It is normal to love storms; I do. Tornadoes are scary though. We had one go by a mile up the road this fall and there is a track through the forest as wide as a two lane highway. It demolished a school and there were a bunch of mangled buses in the road. Storms are awesome, but tornadoes kill so many people and are so destructive that I would prefer to be as far away as possible.

Probably, but I'm not very sure, tornadoes doesn't really happen (well, at least where I'm at they don't.) But yeah, u should probably change that, but even if you do, it wouldn't make a difference, you'd still get killed by it if one had hit your way.
