Why only one side of the Moon is seen

This is called tidal locking, and it will happen to anything that orbits a significantly larger object for a long time. Check out the link below for some more information on the process.Try to remember that the fact that you dont understand something does not mean that it is less likely to be true.......

just yanking your chain. try this one hto, did all of the lunar landers/orbiters simpy close portals or turn off filing so as to not see the 'othr side'...? 'never seen' is kind of silly.

The Moon completes one rotation on its axis in the same amount of time it takes it to orbit the Earth once.

This is not a coincidence at all. It's an inevitable consequence of a rotating smaller object orbiting a larger object, and it makes perfect sense if you understand a little about gravity. Over a very long period of time, the Earth's gravity has gradually slowed the Moon's rotational speed until its rotational period is the same as its orbital period. This is called "tidal locking", and it will happen to anything that orbits a significantly larger object for a long time. Check out the link below for some more information on the process.

Try to remember that the fact that you don't understand something does not mean that it is less likely to be true.
